Project: Large scale region-wide Needs Assessment. This research project investigated the needs, challenges and opportunities faced by community organisations throughout Southland. Project: Feasibility study and development options for one of Dunedin’s most renowned student residences. Client: Selwyn College Dunedin Services: Feasibility study for the potential expansion of the college to accommodate additional postgraduate students and the redevelopment or replacement of a number of existing buildings. Feasibility included detailed research into culture, student and staff requirements, areas in most need of improvement, multiple development options and financial modelling.

OTAGO POLYTECHNIC MULTI-MARKET RESEARCH
Project: To research the perception, marketing effectiveness of the Otago Polytechnic across a wide spectrum of the target market. Identify selling points, decision prompts and make clear recommendations to the Otago Polytechnic. Client: Otago Polytechnic Services: Project management, multi-market research and analysis (including existing students, high school students, 92 Otago businesses and employers) SWOT analysis, recommendations and development of marketing suggestions.
During this project over 600 people were exposed to the proactive and professional approach taken by Otago Polytechnic, via Impact Consulting, in finding ways to improve. In all, 14 recommendations or outcomes were made to Otago Polytechnic during the two parts of the project. Otago Polytechnic has implemented the recommendations into its promotional campaign.
